A wedding favour by any other name is still a wonderful thing to receive!
Whether you call them wedding guest gifts, wedding souveniers, bombonniere, bonbonniere, boubonniere, wedding tokens, wedding parting gifts or even the super casual swag bag, a wedding favour is a wonderful way to thank your guests for celebrating the start of your marriage with you, and show that you appreciate them. Here's how to get the most out of your wedding guest gift table signage with one of our beautiful designs!

Start with the style. What design suits your wedding stationery and decor?
If you've ordered your wedding invitations and other stationery from us, that's easily answered because you'll most likely be picking the matching wedding signs from the drop-dead-gorgeous design you chose originally. But if you're a new visitor who's had all that done elsewhere, take your original invites and your venue decor and styling into consideration; if you're aiming for soft pinks, our designs in the Blushing wedding colour scheme might just be your perfect match!

Think about staging - how are you planning on displaying your wedding bonbonniere?
If you're ordering a favour sign, you're most likely thinking about having one main table where you'll be popping all the favours on for guests to grab on their way home. The best place to start finding the perfect spot for your favour table and the guest gifts is to talk to your venue! They'll be able to give you the best advice based on their experience as to where you should put your table and sign so guests don't miss out on their favour. Or, if you have a wedding planner or wedding stylist organising room layouts for you, chat to them - they'll know the best spots to place everything.

Think about the space and what size you need your favour sign to be.
We generally recommend that an A3 is plenty big enough for a guest gift sign, but before you settle on a size for your favour sign, check out the space it'll be in once you've decided where your favour table is going to sit. How big is the favour table - does it have room for a big sign and all of our bonbonniere? Will the sign be obscured when you display your bombonniere if your sign is too small? Is the area well lit so a medium or small sign will do, or is it a bit darker so a larger sign would be easier to see and read? Once you know how and where it's going to be displayed and the space you have to work with, narrowing down how big your gift sign will need to be is easy as pie.

A favour sign is great, but also think about having your DJ or MC make an announcement.
Your wedding guests are there to party hearty with you to celebrate your marriage, so it's only natural that they're focused more on you and your love and not on what they'll get as a bombonniere - which means they might miss the favour sign and table. Heck, we've even seen guests miss favours placed on their dining plates before because they were having way too much fun with the happy couple! So it's worth chatting to your MC or DJ, or even a wedding party member who'll be giving a speech, to include a small announcement that reminds guests you've got a little somethin' somethin' for them.

Consider upgrading your favour sign from a poster to a board with a kickstand.
By choosing to go for a sturdier board instead of a poster you'll need to find a frame for, and by adding a kickstand, you'll have a handy little self-standing wedding guest gift sign that takes seconds to set up. That way it's super easy to move around and display.
