If there’s one thing we love about what we do, it’s making dreams come true.
Quite often brides and grooms will come to us with an idea for their wedding stationery that they’ve had for years – some since childhood. It may be something small, like a favourite font or a decorative element, or it may be a fully realised concept for everything from the invitations to the seating cards.
These ideas – these dreams – are really important to us too because they give us direction. They form the important first few steps that we take with our happy couple on this journey towards their wedding.
It’s a big responsibility bringing these dreams to life but when we get it right, and we see the look on our lovely clients’ faces, it makes all the hard work worth it.
That’s certainly how we felt working with Daniella. It was an absolute pleasure translating her ideas into a suite of items that helped pull together the classic, elegant and fairytale-esque look of her and Rhys’s big day. (Oh and by the way, we’re very lucky to be working with Daniella’s lovely sister on her upcoming wedding too!)

On choosing to work with Lala Design. ‘I was looking for a place that had a flair for creativity and the style I was after. So, when I found Lala on Instagram – it was a match! I was so happy. Then we met her and we knew she was our person.’

On working through the process. ‘The process was awesome, really. I loved the visit we did to see all the pretty stuff! Even the email process was a pleasure because the girls are all so friendly and passionate about what they do.’
On seeing the final result. ‘I cried when I walked into the venue and noticed all the details. That moment was the first time I’d seen all the elements come together.’
"From the seating chart to the menus and name labels I was so, so, so happy and just overcome with the feeling that all my dreams of a fairytale wedding had truly come to life. My dreams had been realised."
Daniella’s advice for the soon-to-be-wed. ‘Love every minute! It’s the most beautiful process and it leads to such a magical day. I made sure that on the day I soaked up every moment.’
"One thing I did was to have a booklet with all the vendor contacts, details and my run sheets on hand so it was easy to find on the day. I felt so organised!"
