The last wedding task you and your love will have to do is send out your thank you cards - and after all the long planning leading up to the wedding, sometimes it can seem like too much work. It's literally that easy - but here's a few things to consider when you're ordering your wedding thank yous.
Timing is everything for thanking your wedding guests.
We - and current wedding etiquette, of course - advise sending your wedding thanks out between 1 to 3 months after your wedding. Traditionally, you have up to a year after you say I Do; but we're big believers that the sooner you tackle this last wedding task, the more time you and your love have to enjoy married life together. After all, that's the most important bit!
Make it personal and specific, if you can.
When you order wedding thank you cards from Paper and Ink Studio, you get the option to leave the back blank; you can then handwrite your messages to thank your guests personally for being there and for their gift, if they gave one; and if it's a monetary gift donated to your wishing well, don't specify the amount but do tell them what it's going towards - for example, if you're planning to use your wishing well funds to create the home of your dreams, you can say something like 'your generous gift is helping us build our dream home - we couldn't have done it without you!'. And if they've given you a physical gift, you can mention something you love about it, even if it's not quite what you would have chosen for yourselves.
If time is against you or you just don't have the energy to handwrite dozens of thank you cards, that's not a problem at all! You aren't wedding-thank-you-carding incorrectly at all - just make sure your message is heartfelt and genuine. When you're making your list, don't forget to include spares - just in case of surprise gifts from guests who couldn't attend. We recommend at least 5 to 10 spares, just to be super safe; especially if you're handwriting your messages on the back of your beautiful photo thank you cards.

I was so lost on where to start with planning my wedding, and with in half an hour after receiving my planner I had started to plan my wedding! It’s so informative and so helpful In every part of planning a wedding it had so much info on stuff I didn’t even know you had to do from dress styles to ring bans that suit certain ring to transport to the venue to flowers and even for proportions for food for cocktail wedding which helped me so much! I could go on all day bout how amazing and helpful this planner is to me!! 110% worth every penny!!! Oh and not to mention the sample pack for invitations!! This planner is amazing, there are so many aspects I had never even thought of when planning a wedding. My finance and I were both overwhelmed by how little we knew! This planner covers everything, the layout with tabs is perfect, cute little prompts and a bit of light hearted fun definitely make the process less daunting. The customer service team are awesome too, there was a minor issue that they rectified immediately. Will be back again for all the stationery in the future!
